What started as a ‘side project to a side project’ has taken on a life of its own. I’ve really come to respect these birds. Their lives are hard and for many, short. Each day is a struggle. Predators abound.
From a distance, it’s hard to tell. But up close, many chickens show signs of sickness and injury. This is their everyday world.
These animals have souls. Personalities. I’m sure of it. You can just tell. Here’s just a few of them.
