Tampa’s Trashcans

I keep forgetting that I have a ‘blog’. That aside, I’ve been out photographing a lot. Both for myself and for clients.

This project came about from a brainstorm session while reviewing some raw images from an earlier walkabout venture. “Trashcans”! Yes, and dumpsters. Really any waste receptacle. So I ventured out to photograph nothing but trashcans and dumpsters.

The trick was to capture them both emotionally and architecturally. Like they were sort of a hybrid person/building. In other words, something with a story and emotions.

These images are very lightly edited using only Lightroom. Any printed or exhibited images (if that happens) will be more deeply post-produced. Meantime, forget my words and check out “Tampa’s Trashcans”.
